Trade Development Representatives

Our client is an alcohol distributor in Nairobi. They seek to hire dynamic individuals for the Trade Development Representatives to deliver volume and revenue growth from outlets by following the Planned Call and executing all planned initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Achieve set monthly sales volume targets as per plan and product mixEnsure timely collections to achieve volumesAchieve monthly revenue targets as per plan All products are displayed and priced as per required standardPOSM placement and merchandising complies to set standardsGenerate primary sales ordersManage secondary sales from distributors and wholesalersEnsure product availability in retail as per journey plansDistributor Management – Maintain standards as per client’s guidelinesProspecting & Listing – New outlet openingManage handover process of new outlets to the distributor/wholesalerMaintain outlet database within the distributor areaMaintain quality standards as per set standardsEnsure retail awareness on client’s quality standardsManage non-conforming product in tradeTimely reporting on all quality issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing Qualification or an equivalent;1-2 years Sales & Marketing background in a marketing trade/ FMCG environmentGood selling, negotiation and communication skills with a proven track record.Exceptional marketing skills.
